Milk and Cookies Jr and Milk and Cookies 3.0
I received pictures of my gorgeous little nephews, Milk and Cookies Jr. and Milk and Cookies 3.0.
'Shaun, aka, Milk and Cookies Jr!!

Such handsome boys, they are!
They are starting to look like their Pa, Milk and Cookies.

I'm not sure we can call him Milk and Cookies anymore, tho.
'Kari is Steak and Potatoes, now.
With a glass of Crown Royal.. straight, no ice.
LOL.
The boys will continue to be Milk and Cookies Jr. and 3.0, though.
And I will always and forever think of them like this.

Time is going by so fast...
Thank goodness for pictures! :)

Milk and Cookies, Jr. First Day of School!
Case in point... Milk and Cookies Junior started kindergarten this year.
Here he is on his first day with his new teacher.
Actually it was a meet and greet open house, just so the kids can see the classroom and meet their teacher.
Here's Milk and Cookies Jr. on his REAL first day of school:

He looks fresh faced and ready to go! No tears here!
And here he is walking to school.

That back pack look as big as him.
And here he is walking away from his Mama.
I know she cried. I myself got all teary-eyed when I saw the pictures.
He even made a new friend.
It is always good to have a friend to play with...
Go Milk and Cookies, Jr!
Glad you had a good first day of school!

LadyLee's Nephews- Little Milk and Cookies
I haven't posted pictures of my nephews in awhile. I have never met the younger one, and I have only met the oldest one once, at his 1st birthday party. My sister decided to go on vacation, and she is out there for a week. That should be fun, them meeting their auntie for the first time!
Here are some current pictures.
Milk and Cookies Jr. and Milk and Cookies 3.0 had their own little business: selling cups of water for a nickel a piece.
They do look like little businessmen, don't they?
I heard the little one said "It's hot out here. Time to close the business."
LOL
And here is Milk and Cookies, Jr on his recreational vehicle..
He reminds me so much of my brother when he was that age back in 1993.
Oh how fast they grow. Sigh. I hope to get out there to see them soon.

Semi-Wordless Wednesdays: The Milk and Cookies Crew
A reminder of why he is called Milk and Cookies. He was named that by a blogger. He had to be around 17 at the time. She said that he was too young to date and that he was a "Milk and Cookies".
A "Milk and Cookies" is a term for a man that you are dating that you can't have a glass of wine with, because he is too young. Instead of wine, you had to serve him milk and cookies.
LOL. Funny then. Still funny. So even though he's 25 now, he will forever be "Milk and Cookies".
So here is some pictures for you...
Mr. and Mrs. Milk and Cookies
One day, Milk and Cookies bought the kids some type of toy tool set.

They were very interested in that tool set! Even Milk and Cookies Senior is serious.
Milk and Cookies, Jr. looks good in the toy hard hat and tool belt.
He's a big boy! He will be turning 4 next month.
Milk and Cookies 3.0 and Milk and Cookies Jr.
Milk and Cookies 3.0 is only 17 months old, but he looks very serious in the picture below.

And they both look happy in the toy jeep on the kitchen linoleum!
Those are great pictures. I'm glad I got over to facebook and picked them up. The boys are really growing up!

Milk and Cookies Sr. and Jr. Picture Show
Him in his army gear.

Me and Cowgirl Cre were pondering this picture.
"He looks dangerous," I whispered.
Cowgirl Cre nodded in agreement.
"Look at that grass," I said. I tapped my LCD screen with my ink pen. "That is not Georgia!"
"Sure ain't, girl." CowgirlCre replied.
I think that's is a picture in Iraq. He's stationed in Seattle now. Thank goodness he's back.
Milk and Cookies loves motorcyles. This absolutely unnerves me.
Looks like now he has Milk and Cookies, Jr. all excited about motorcyles.

When Milk and Cookies smiles, his smile is quite toothy. He needs to turn the wattage down.
Orthodenture... it sure works, and he don't mind showing it off.
He even got the baby sitting up on a minibike all by himself.

Lawd have mercy.
That child is going to be riding his own motor bike before we know it.
Sigh.
Whelp! Best to get him use to it now while he's young!
Ya'll have a Terrific Thursday!

Day Six - Your Day
Easy enough.
It. is. the. Weekend.
That is all.
So if I sat up in here and picked fuzzballs out of my carpet all day, then FINE.
Interestingly, there was an email out for overtime. That wasn't going down with me. Been treated like crap all week, they can go sit on a tack.
See you on Monday.
Anyway, I woke up at my usual 5:30 am. Naturally. Thought remotely about going walking at around 6:30. That was a no go, for whatever reason. I think I lay in bed. I really needed that time to calm my head and relax because it's been a TERRIBLE week at work.
This really needed to be a chore day. My house is a hot mess. I like to clean up during the week, but this past week consisted of coming home, taking off my clothes, taking off my bra, and going to bed.
So I'm somewhat happy with my attempt at chores.
It all sounds mundane, doesn't it?
And that's okay. I like mundane.
But it wasn't mundane. Lo and behold, there was a family gathering. Family gatherings are rare, and since they stress me out something terrible, I usually don't go. Seeing me show up is like spotting a UFO. Better catch it while you can.
But alas, not this time.
Milk and Cookies is home from Iraq, and there was a Welcome Home Gathering for him. From what I hear, he's around for 20 days, and then he'll be stationed in Seattle.
It was potluck. I didn't make anything, though. I picked up some cranberry tuna salad, sonoma chicken salad, and crackers from Whole Foods last night, and that was that. And it was one of those things where I told my sister, when people started showing up, give me a call, and I'll come on over.
Been quite a few times when I get somewhere on time and I'm the only one there. NOT a good look, man.
Anyway, I had a nice time. Auntie and Grandma were there. I saw some of my cousins.
And of course there was my brother Milk and Cookies.
I even got a really good picture of Sr. and Jr. together!
It's hard to get a baby to smile. But the mohawk rockin' Milk and Cookies Jr. cheesed hard with his 6 to 8 teeth.
I had a nice time. I actually sat down and talked with my brother. I don't think we've had a real convo of any length in the past 3 years. So that was a good thing. There were quite a few pics. I'll sort and load this week sometime.
So I left the party around 7:30. I came on home, and now I'm sitting here typing up this blog post, and watching the movie Mad Money on Lifetime. Oscar-Tyrone is sitting here on the sofa carefully watching me, hoping that I will pet him. (Not gonna happen).
Tonight I plan to fold my clothes, and get something together so I can throw on and walk in the early morn. My room is still a mess, so I will dabble around in there.
That is my DAY. A good day. I met a few small goals, and my brother is back stateside, safe and sound.
A great day indeed.
