Ten Thoughts on a Thursday...


1. I am having crazy trouble loading up photos. And you know how much I like my visuals. So I am looking for a work-around right now.

2. Kobe is gone, ya'll.  It seems as if some people are larger than life, and this just could NOT happen to them. This proves all that wrong. No one knows the time or the place of their last day on earth. No one.

3. Two of my neighbors have up and moved. And you can tell thieves have been scoping and/or trying to break into their houses, because I have seen random people sitting around outside, like they are the look-outs or something. AND said neighbors have thought to park a car(s) in the yard. This does not seem to be fooling the crooks. They still scoping. Hmm.

4.You know what I am thinking is happening in my gentrified hood? People are moving and buying new houses, and holding on to their old house and letting the value go up. Then they can sell it. But in the meantime, everybody knows you are not there. Hmmm.

5. I love when there are retirement parties and baby showers at work. All the extra food comes up to my cubicle area. That means free lunch for me.

6. I have been super busy on a big project. I was nervous about it because I was team lead on the project. It is over now. But while going through it, I would be going to bed feeling like, "Gee, this is never going to be over."

7. We have a lot of new people starting at work. I am trying to get in the habit of making a welcome gift of cookies and little knick-knacks. Everyone wants to feel okay about starting a new job. I can at least do my part to be healthy.

8. This day has been going by super slow. I hate watching the clock tick.

9. I can't wait for my 50th birthday next week. I am so excited. It's not like I am doing anything special. But just the very thought of turning 50, just making it to that age, means the world to me.

10. I am ready for the weekend!!
