And anticipation for his new CD is building up steam. He's a little harder than I care for, but I like his production so far. There's no release date.

I like "Money Trees Deuce"
That song picks up where "Money Deuce" from Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid M.A.A.D City CD left off.
So that's a good transition.
But I REALLY like "Gumbo"

ReplyDeleteBlack Rose. I listened to it Saturday morning. It was okay. I only like one song on it. But that's just me. I don't like new school crooners. Just like I liked only one song on Jamie Foxx's CD. I just wish there was more diversity in their songs. There HAS to be more subject matter besides wailing about a woman leaving you and sex. HAS to be. It all sounds the same to me.

ReplyDeleteI think he has been with TDE for 10 years or so. Kendrick was his hype man, then Kendrick blew up. This CD looks like it's gonna be good. Not sure why it's taking so long to come out.
