Saturday 7: An Oldgirl's To Do List

So, I guess I have to post today, hunh?

I don't get the weekend off?

The HORROR!!

LOL.

No horror. I can always come up with something.

It is VERY cold this morning. If I heard the weatherman right, it is like, 30 degrees or something like that.

This means I need to stay in the bed under this down comforter... all day.

Uh, no.

I got stuff to do today. And that's the topic for the Saturday Seven.

1. Clean Up. Good grief, I've been bone tired when I've gotten home at night. Eat and go to bed. Plus Aunt Flo was hanging out, so you KNOW I was somewhere trying to lay it down.

So I need to clean up the house. I have a very small house, so that will take no longer than 2 hours...

2. Crochet. I have a project due in early January, and one in February... And I'd planned on working on that during the week, but I wasn't hearing that at all. So I'll work on it today. If I find a good Lifetime Movie, then I can get much done.

3. Write. I have been writing scenes longhand this week. I have to get those typed up, and do some editing. I plan on spending about an hour and a half on that today.

4. Read. I am currently reading Jodi Picoult's Handle with Care. Excellent book. It is my book club book, and I'm only a fourth of the way through it. So I best get cracking!

5. Wash Clothes. I think this falls under the cleaning up thing, but not quite. I have 3 loads of clothes to wash. I better get on in there before my sister Kentucky gets in there. That girl will be in there all day, and I'd be looking straight crazy.

6. Eat. Not sure what's on the menu today. I know I'll have oatmeal chocked full of raisins and prunes with almond milk and walnuts for breakfast. I think I'll have a black bean burger on a sprouted bun, and some fruit for lunch. And for dinner, I want to make some cream of mushroom soup. No heavy cream in this one, but using some homemade cashew cream instead. This may or may not work, but it's my project for the day.

7. Yack on the phone. Okay, you know I'm running out of stuff to say, lol. Gotta call LadyTee. Can't call her right now, cuz she still sleep, and I don't want to get cussed. So I'll call her in about an hour. She is the only person I ever really call, so that's that.
